Performance Imports

Performance Imports caters to enthusiasts of imported Japanese motor vehicles. In addition to road-testing imported Japanese vechicles, there are technical features on modifications and modified cars. PI visits Japan to cover events such as the JGTC, drag racing and drifting. PI also attends major shows such as the Tokyo Auto Salon which gives readers further insight into the Japanese performance scene.

PI is also actively involved in the local import scene. There's always a project car in the PI garage, which is used for testing parts and demonstrating methods of modification.

PI is the only magazine in Australia catering to the import market. It's recognised as the industry standard and articles from the magazine are often used as part of the import compliance eligibility criteria.

The magazine also publishes special editions - the Annual Buyers' Guide, GT-R special, Silvia special and Supra special.

Since November 2001, PI has released videos based on the content covered in the magazine. Every video contains nearly an hour of exclusive footage, including visits to Japanese workshops and drag meetings.
